Mexican-Style Smoked Pork
Recipe:
Place two pounds of pulled pork, 1 can of lime and cilantro Rotel, and 1 tablespoon of my Fajita and Taco Seasoning (recipe below) into a slow cooker and set the heat to Keep Warm. Stir the mixture together, then add 1 more tablespoon of seasoning and 1 cup of broth (beef or chicken, your choice). Cover and allow up to 8 hours to cook. You can speed the process to about 4 hours if you set to Low. Add up to another half cup of broth during the cook if needed, to keep it moist. When it’s hot and the flavors have blended, serve and enjoy with your favorite taco toppings!
Fajita and Taco Seasoning:
2 tbsp Cumin
1 tbsp salt
1 tbsp black pepper
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp cinnamon
