Budget BBQ – Pulled Pork Cubano

Recipe

Heat griddle press to 350°F and begin sandwich prep. Spread mayonnaise on two slices of sourdough bread, then add

  • yellow mustard
  • ~5 smoked ham slices
  • 2 smoked provolone cheese slices
  • approximately one cup of pulled pork, and
  • two pickle slices

Close the sandwich and butter one side of the bread, place butter side down on the griddle press, then butter the other side and close the press. Put a light amount of pressure on top of the press (use a hot pad!!) for a few seconds to flatten the sandwich a bit, then cook 5-10 minutes until golden brown. Use a spatula to remove the sandwich and let it cool another 3-5 minutes. Enjoy!!
